Portugal Dow's vintage port Red
Vintage Port should always be stored lying down and decanted prior to serving. Stand the bottle upright an hour or two before pulling the cork and pour carefully into a clean decanter, leaving the sediment in the original bottle. The brand name is Dow's yet the name of the firm is Silva and Cosens. Dow and Co have been shipping port since 1798. Very dark opaque purple colour .A typically spicy nose and intense underlying aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants.On the palate enormous weight and structure with a marvellous balance of dense black fruit flavours and firm tannins.Vintage Port should always be stored lying down and decanted prior to serving.
