Progressive-scan circuitry, for superior picture quality The progressive-scan circuitry with 625P output supports the high picture quality of DVD. Video images of superior quality can be enjoyed when the DVD-770SD is combined with a monitor that supports progressive-scan input.

Supports Dolby Digital and DTS bit-stream output The DVD-770SD's digital audio output supports Dolby Digital and DTS bit-stream output. When connected to an A/V surround amp with a built-in Dolby Digital or DTS decoder, the bit-stream output delivers real, high-quality digital surround sound.
On-screen GUI, for easy operation A newly-designed on-screen graphical user interface (GUI) allows users to make settings and perform operations while viewing the screen. Screen displays can be switched very easily among 4 languages (English, German, Spanish and French).
A wealth of functions for full enjoyment of DVD Besides the DVD functions that let users select a playback mode, such as multi-sound, subtitles, or video image angles, the DVD-770SD has a number of other DVD functions to expand the user's enjoyment of DVD. One of these functions is a zoom feature that plays a video in 2x or 4x zoom in accordance with the video image.
A wealth of playback modes The DVD-770SD provides a variety of playback modes that includes the Resume mode which starts play again from a point where the Stop button was pressed. Other playback modes include Slow Play, Repeat Play (A-B, Chapter, Track, Disc), Random Play, and Program Play.
