The images range across more than a thousand categories, and while there is some overlap, it shouldn't be too difficult to find the pictures you want. That is in no small part thanks to the feature that really makes this collection of images worth considering--its excellent image viewer. The viewer takes a no-frills approach, allowing you to browse the two CDs in the collection and any image files you may have on your own hard drive. It takes a simple point and click approach, showing thumbnail-sized images initially, with a rather larger than thumbnail image appearing when you single-click on a picture, and an even bigger one available if you double click. It is one of the simplest, easiest to use graphics viewers around and ideal for working your way through 75,000 images--or even more. --Sandra Vogel

You can choose from more than 500 ready-to-use samples or if you like, you can personalise your cards with your own designs and photos. You will probably recognise the "For Dummies" name from the popular guides that fill the shelves of most bookshops. Now they have come to your computer and they have made strenuous efforts to make this package as easy as possible to use.

This title is light-hearted in its approach and installation is simple and straightforward. The instructions aren't confusing and there are just a few basic steps to follow. First you enter your personal details so they can be transferred onto the business card of your choice; next you can click on a template that takes your fancy and then print it out in your chosen style. The categories of business cards you can choose from include art, classic, professional and zodiac signs depending on what types of illustrations and look you wish to convey.

If none of the templates grabs you, you can create your own business card from scratch which is obviously a bit trickier. However a card wizard has been integrated with the software to guide you through the different steps involved so you can choose your own format and style. --Justin Hunt

The templates are stored under five categories which include music and photographs. In the music section, you can get jazz, disco and classical music covers. The designs are pretty basic but you can also modify them and create your own.

The software lets you choose the type of paper on which you are going to print the labels and covers. And the package has handily configured several types of paper so you don't need to fret about calculating the format (the margins, diameter and so on) for most labels.

To get going, you simply enter your contact details onto a form in the Directory so they can be added automatically to your labels and covers. Using the drop-down menu you can quickly select a CD template from one of the categories, choose your label and modify it with your own list. If you don't like the look of the templates, you can give them a quick makeover. Again the process is pretty straightforward. You double-click on the display of the label or cover, left-click to select the area that you wish to change and then right-click on the selected area to change the text or image.
