Car tyres are normally made of rubber. They are fitted on the wheel of the car. Tyres generally have reinforcing threads in them; based on the orientation of the threads, they are classified as bias-ply or radial. A tyre may have an inner tube or may be tubeless. Some of the most popular tyre manufactures are Michelin, Dunlop, Goodyear. Most of us commonly notice tyres when we check the air pressure of our car and when we come across a puncture!
